Brant Lake Association, the Town of Horicon and the Adirondack Council will hold an Adirondack Park Invasive Species Summit & Award Presentation on Friday, August 14 from 11a.m. to 2 p.m. at Horicon Town Hall.
The purpose of the summit is to recognize and celebrate progress combating invasive species at Brant Lake and at surrounding lakes. Participants will discuss updated strategies and priorities, including ways the state can continue and improve its assistance to local communities and lake associations.
Town of Horicon Supervisor Matt Simpson and Brant Lake Association President Wayne Butler will welcome participants, followed by Brant Lake Association Board Member Douglas Schultz and Adirondack Council Executive Director William C.
