Although Josh Carter spent the first 12 years of his life in Louisville, KY, he's spent most of his life here in the North Country.
After high school, Josh spent some time in Columbus, Ohio where he began his broadcasting career at Sunny 95 (94.7 WSNY) After a few years, he wanted to move to television. He made the trek back home
to the North Country to work for Hearst Television in Plattsburgh. Even television couldn't keep him from radio, so he'd work weekends at a local station group. "Life got in the way," so Josh took
a break from radio for about 6 years.
Although he doesn't hide the fact that he hates cold weather and snow, Josh says there's nothing better than Lake Champlain in the summer. "Summer days on the lake make it all worth it," says Josh.
