This is who we are, and what we do.  

106.3 NBZ-FM is a Classic Hits station with a couple of things that makes us different from other radio stations.  We play a curated playlist of the Greatest Hits of All Time from the 70s to the 90s, with an emphasis on the 80s.  Our station serves one of the most northeastern corners of New York State, northwestern Vermont, and a little bit into the Province of Quebec.  The broad reach of our signal is enabled by having our transmitter atop Lyon Mountain in Clinton County, New York.  The signal of NBZ-FM covers the Burlington-Plattsburgh market quite well.

What makes NBZ-FM Different?  For starters;

1. We wholeheartedly believe in PERSONALITY DRIVEN RADIO. This is borne, in part, from our owner having once worked for the legend that is “Cousin Brucie.”

2. Our air staff are given CREATIVE FREEDOM when it comes to putting together a great show.  

3. We KNOW THE MUSIC and play an EXTREMELY BROAD VARIETY of it, too.

4. We ARE ALL ABOUT LOCAL, and running the station in the best interests and to the benefit of the community which we serve.  We let people know about community events and blood drives regularly, and work that into our shows.

5. The value of TEAMWORK cannot be stated enough.  As a group of people who are dedicated to the profession of radio, we support you in all the ways possible to ensure your success.  

6. Our atmosphere is FUN and FRIENDLY as a whole… both on and off the air.

As an INDEPENDENTLY OWNED AND OPERATED STATION, there are absolutely no corporate overlords to answer to.  In fact, you could think of our little station as working for a small family-owned station like you would have back in the day, but in the modern era where remote work and the flexibility associated therewith is possible.

• Compensation:  20% to 25% of Personal Sales.

Although sales experience is preferred, no experience is necessary.  We are looking for motivated, self-starting, team players who are driven to win!
