19th Annual Mark & Pearlie Rabin Memorial Golf Tournament

19th Rabin Memorial Golf Tourney - July 24

Plattsburgh, NY—The 19th Annual Mark & Pearlie Rabin Memorial Golf Tournament, organized by the SUNY Plattsburgh School of Business and Economics, will be held on Wednesday, July 24, at the Harmony Golf Club. The tournament features a 4-person scramble, with a maximum of 112 players, and it is open to the public. School of Business and Economics students and graduates are especially invited to play in the event. All proceeds from the tournament will go to the Plattsburgh College Foundation and the Mark Rabin Memorial Scholarship in Marketing endowment, which was established with the proceeds from the previous 18 tournaments.

The registration fee is still an incredible $54.99, which includes 14 holes of golf, golf cart, prizes and goofy hats for everyone, and a delicious buffet lunch. There will also be a $5,000 hole-in-one prize as well as the famous 35-foot Sledgehammer Putting Contest, both sponsored by Shumway Insurance Agency. Mulligan tickets and 50/50 raffle tickets will also be available for sale. Prizes will also be awarded for Men’s and Women’s longest drive, longest putt, closest to the pin, and rookies of the year.

The morning flight starts at 8 am (arrive by 7:30 am) and the afternoon flight begins at 1 pm (arrive by 11:30 for lunch). The lunch buffet will be available for all golfers from 11:15 am - 12:45 pm; Prizes will be awarded to all teams during the luncheon, and the 50/50 drawing will also take place at that time. No golf experience necessary to participate!
