According to a recent Gallup poll, 53% of Americans say their financial situation is worsening. 58% believe the stock market will decline over the next six months, and almost 75% believe a recession is on its way. Only 29% of respondents believe the stock market will go up. "Everything that's supposed to be up is down, everything that's supposed to be down is up," James Pethokoukis of the American Enterprise Institute conservative think tank said. (newser)
