Starting today, 106.3 NBZ-FM will change its format to something fans have been waiting for: a full, non-stop, all-Rick-Astley-all-the-time station!
Yes, you read that right — for the second time in radio history, 106.3 NBZ-FM will dedicate its entire airwave to the timeless tunes of Rick Astley, playing nothing but Rick Astley 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. From “Never Gonna Give You Up” to “Together Forever,” fans of the British pop sensation will now have round-the-clock access to his entire catalog, including deep cuts, remixes, and live performances.
"We’ve been reading the room, and it’s clear that Rick Astley is more than just a ‘90s icon — he’s an eternal favorite," said Woodhouse, Program Director at 106.3 NBZ-FM. "So, we thought, why not do something revolutionary and give the people exactly what they want? Rick Astley fans have been requesting more, and we’re happy to deliver. In addition to the core Rick Astley hits, 106.3 NBZ-FM will feature exclusive content such as “Astley Hour” hosted by Ronnie Ramone — a weekly deep dive into Rick's career, behind-the-scenes stories, and fan submissions. The station will also roll out special "Astley Ad-Libs," where listeners can participate in fun live on-air events, all designed to celebrate the man who has truly become a cultural phenomenon.
