NY state has launched a training program for workers in the cannabis industry.
Cannabis workforce training is focused on health, safety and employment standards and is a joint effort by the Office of Cannabis Management and the state Department of Labor. New York is the first state to require and develop workforce responsibility courses. According to the Cannabis office the state currently has 343 legal, adult-use dispensaries.
