The donation will support a range of educational programs and opportunities for students.
The George and Shirley Moore Foundation has provided a $25,000 donation to CV-TEC for the second consecutive school year, enhancing educational opportunities for students. The funds, distributed through the Adirondack Foundation, will support initiatives such as work-based learning, scholarships for post-secondary training, and student resources like gas cards. Troy Baraby of the Moore Foundation expressed confidence that the donation would positively impact the local economy by helping students secure quality jobs in the area. CV-TEC is expanding with new facilities, including a food hub and the Institute for Advanced Manufacturing site at Clinton Community College, which will provide more opportunities for local students. With over 900 students enrolled, CV-TEC is poised for growth, and this donation will help the institution continue providing a supportive environment for students as they transition into the workforce.
