The Champlain Valley Voices will host a benefit concert on March 29 at 3 p.m. at the Plattsburgh United Methodist Church, showcasing the diverse talents of local performers from the North Country. The concert will feature acts such as the Plattsburgh State Gospel Choir, Cumberland Bay Barbershoppers, Riveting Reeds, Clef Leopard, and Morse Academy of Irish Dance, along with soloists and duets. William Verity, the director of Champlain Valley Voices, said this is the first time these talented groups will perform together on one stage, celebrating the region’s rich artistic community. The concert will include a wide range of music, from vocal ensembles to instrumental performances, culminating in a collaborative performance of "Sail Away" with dancers and musicians. Admission is free, but donations are welcomed to support local live music and future events. via The Press Republican
