State Police are targeting drivers on electronic devices this week.
Troopers will be conducting "Operation Hang Up" an effort involving stepped up patrols and checkpoints targeting drivers on phones and other electronic devices. It's part of Distracted Driving Awareness month. Distracted driving is the most common contributing factor in crashes in New York State.
