A multi-police agency search is underway for a suspect police say was involved in a stabbing incident.
On Sunday afternoon the Ticonderoga Police report they responded to a residence on Park Avenue for a reported assault involving a knife. The officers determined the suspect to be Jacob T Sawyer, a 28-year-old Ticonderoga resident. Police say a female victim was injured during the incident and is in stable condition. A warrant for Sawyer's arrest was issued by the Ticonderoga Town Court that includes the charge of 2nd degree attempted murder. According to the Ticonderoga Police this is an isolated incident and there is believed to be no threat to the public.
