Officials met on Tuesday at SUNY Plattsburgh regarding the move of Clinton Community College to the SUNY Plattsburgh campus.
Relocation of the Plattsburgh based community college was announced in early 2024. While at SUNY Plattsburgh Tuesday Chancellor John King said several critical milestones have been met to keep the relocation on track for the upcoming Fall semester. Clinton's Administrator in charge, Ken Knelly, said it was a wonderful thing for the college. SUNY Plattsburgh President, Alexander Enyedi, said this will create a pathway that will benefit students and strengthen the community. As part of the relocation plan, a new partnership between CCC and CVPH will provide students in the nursing and EMT programs with direct access to the hospital and "real-world" learning according to a press release issued after Tuesday's meeting.
