A shelter-in-place order issued Sunday afternoon in Ticonderoga has been lifted, according to local police. Authorities had been conducting a search in the area, leading to a heavy police presence and urging residents to stay indoors. WCAX reports that as of 9 a.m. Monday, police confirmed that the order was no longer in effect and normal activities could resume.
