100,000 Teddy Bears Tossed Onto Ice Rink For Charity

On Sunday, The Hershey Bears hockey team held their annual Teddy Bear Toss. The Pennsylvania team shared a video on Instagram of 100,000 plush bears flying into the air onto the ice. "The world-famous event, held during today's game against the Providence Bruins, sees fans throw stuffed animals onto the ice following Hershey's first goal of the game," a team press release said. Some players took a moment to jump on top of and play with the stuffed animals. The Teddy Bear Toss has taken place every year since 2001, and these toys are collected for charity. (AOL)
