Florida Dumpster Diver Is Already Christmas “Shopping”

Florida dumpster diver Melanie Diaz is heading to trash bins to find decorations for next year. Diaz says she has saved thousands by taking a peek behind Michaels and TJ Maxx to see what these retailers have discarded. The Tampa resident has recovered gifts, seasonal toys, wreaths, ornaments, and artificial trees. "I love saving everything so I can put it in my house and decorate it for the next year," the 22-year-old said. She also enjoys visiting the dumpsters behind Burlington, Home Goods, and Pop Shelf. "I even had to bring my family to help me because it was too much," she said. (Good News Network)
