On December 26th, Hadi Nazari stopped to take pictures while hiking Australia's Kosciuszko National Park, and got separated from his friends. Nazari survived for 13 days by eating foraged berries and two granola bars he found in a hut. Fortunately, the medical student found a group of hikers on Wednesday afternoon. "He told them that he'd been lost in the bush and was thirsty," Andrew Spliet of the Riverina Police District said. Nazari was taken to a hospital out of precaution, but has been described as being in good health with no major injuries. (newser)
