Kane Christensen was working at the Australian Reptile Park when he came across an unusually large spider, who he named "Big Boy." As it turns out, Big Boy belonged to a previously unidentified species. The spider has now been identified as the third species of the Sydney funnel-web spider. "I just helped them find the species and they rang me and said would they be able to name it after me? That's just one of the biggest honors you could ever get," Christensen said. Big Boy's official species name is Atrax christenseni. (newser)
