A TAP Air Portugal plane was grounded at the Ponta Delgada Airport for four days after 132 hamsters escaped. The critters were en route to a pet store when they escaped into the cargo hold. The plane was kept as a precaution in case the rodents made their way into the plane's electrical wires. After being thoroughly searched, the Airbus A 320 was cleared to fly back to Lisbon on Sunday.
