Rescued Scientist Vows Never To Enter A Cave Again

32-year-old Ottavia Piana has vowed never to enter a cave again after rescue teams spent 75 hours rescuing the scientist. Piana, a speleologist, was mapping an uncharted area of an Italian cave when she fell 15 feet and fractured her face and ribs. Over 150 participants removed Piana on a stretcher. "She's speaking very little, but said she would never enter a cave again," a rescue medic said. Piana was injured in this cave before: 17 months ago, she broke her leg and was stuck for two days.
