Traveler Mikaela Ian Pearman flew from her home in Bermuda to try chef Kwame Onwauchi’s restaurant Tatiana before flying to Colombia the very next day. While the trip set her back $350, she said it was worth it. Food influencer Jada Durden flew in from New Orleans to eat at Ramen By Ra. Her round trip ticket only set her back $38. "I could be back home the same day. So I was, like, ‘Well, let me just make a day trip of it," Durden said. Durden was back home by midnight.
