A medical jet crash in North Philadelphia killed 7 people, including an 11-year-old pediatric patient named Alentina Guzman Murillo and her mother. The plane, which was en route to Tijuana, crashed moments after takeoff, leaving debris scattered in a residential area and injuring 22 others. The NTSB is investigating the cause of the crash. Family members of the victims in the recent air disaster near Washington, D.C., visited the crash site where an American Airlines jet and Army Black Hawk helicopter collided, claiming all 67 lives. Investigators are still piecing together the events as recovery efforts continue. 42 bodies had been recovered as of Saturday afternoon. (CBS News)


President Trump is set to impose 25% tariffs on Mexican and Canadian imports and 10% on Chinese goods on Tuesday. He admits this will cause "some pain" for Americans, but claims it will eventually be "worth the price." U.S. households are expected to pay up to $7,600 in extra expenses. Canada and Mexico will also retaliate with 25% tariffs on U.S. goods. (UPI)


The U.S. Agency for International Development's security director and deputy were placed on leave after a reported attempt by Elon Musk's Department of Government Efficiency employees to access classified systems. Musk called for USAID "to die" on X yesterday and accusing the independent agency -- without evidence -- of being a “criminal organization.” (NBC News)


Flames and smoke on the right wing during takeoff prompted the evacuation of United Airlines flight 1382 at Houston's airport. Passengers disembarked using slides and stairs, with no injuries reported. The FAA is investigating. (AP)
