Odie Coyote

Hey there! I’m Odie Coyote, the guy who’s here to bring a little music, a lot of laughs, and maybe even a few wild stories to your day on 106.3 NBZ-FM! After nearly 15 years in radio behind the scenes—handling tech and engineering duties—I’m excited to finally be in front of the mic, connecting directly with you fine folks. It’s been a long time coming, and I can’t wait to crank up the energy and keep you entertained.

I’ve always been passionate about music and storytelling. From a young age, I knew there was something special about how a good song or a great radio show could make your day just a little bit better. I’ve spent years helping stations sound their best behind the curtain, but now I get to live the dream—sharing tunes, news, and plenty of off-the-wall moments with y’all.

Outside of the studio, you’ll probably find me hitting up karaoke nights around town. It’s one of my favorite things to do—singing my heart out to some country hits, maybe throwing in a classic rock anthem or two. Don’t be surprised if you catch me turning a karaoke night into a full-blown concert (or at least I like to think so).

Now, I can’t talk about fun without bringing up my love of fireworks. I’ve always been a bit of pyromaniac at heart. There’s just something about lighting up the night sky that gets me going. In fact, one of my craziest stories involves a night with a buddy of mine, a rooftop, and a few drinks. We thought we’d put on our own fireworks spectacular—everything was going grea until the flashing lights (of a different kind) showed up, courtesy of the local police. Let’s just say we learned to leave the pyrotechnics to the pros... for now, at least!

I’m all about having a good time and bringing that same vibe to my show. Whether it’s sharing the latest music, cracking jokes, or diving into fun conversations about life, I’m here to make sure your time on 106.3 NBZ-FM is never dull.
