Remember that time we were called 106.3 RICK-FM for about 20 hours?

Well, at 10am on December 31, 2023 we did just that. The former Z1063 was officially done and over with, relegated to the annals of local radio history. Some folks had some work to do, and the Owner and General Manager, Bill Dickerson, was kicked off the air so things could be adjusted. For the occasion, we had a special guest DJ, Slater, who would end up joining our staff.

106.3 NBZ-FM was officially born on January 1, 2024 at 7am.
