For the second time in a week, a Mariners program finished second in New York State American Legion Baseball. The Junior Mariners fell 6-2 to the Junior Utica Blue Sox in the State Championship. THE LAKE MONSTERS WIN GAME 1 OF THE SEMIFINALS. The Lake Monsters busted the game open in the 1st with a 4-run inning and went on to beat the #1 Norwich Sea Unicorns. Zander Teator collected 2 RBI and got the save in the 9th inning. Game 2 at Centennial Field Tuesday night at 6:35.
