    McCasland chats with Steve about his recovery from UCL surgery, also known as Tommy John surgery, which is a surgical procedure to repair or replace the torn ulnar collateral ligament in the elbow. McCasland is back on the bump this spring for UMASS- Dartmouth!

  • Criss On Sports - March 24, 2025

    The Glens Falls Black Bears outscored Mt. Sinai 18-2 over the first six minutes of the fourth quarter en route to a 77-57 victory, wrapping up a second consecutive undefeated Class A boys' basketball championship. Glens Falls finished 27-0 for the second straight year, giving the Black Bears a 54-game winning streak and a legacy unmatched in Glens Falls team sports.

  • Criss On Sports - March 21, 2025

    Miller has appeared in three games as a pitcher and has faced all ranked-teams in the process (Denison, Johns Hopkins, and Trinity (Texas). He is the son of Ryan and Kendra Miller of Plattsburgh.

 

About Steve Criss

Steve grew up right here in the North Country, graduating from Beekmantown High School ('84).  Steve has always had a dream of being on the radio and has broadcast live local sports for over half a decade!  Now, Steve doesn't have to stay in his own lane, and he's bringing Criss on Sports to NBZ-FM!

Steve, and his wife Nina, reside in Beekmantown with their three dogs, and are proud parents of two sons and two daughters.  Hunter, Ryan, Gretchen and Rachel are in their early twenties, and are enjoying strong starts in their respective careers!
